Erin McQuillen has over 13 years of experience in the placement of lawyers and eDiscovery/Litigation Support professionals, in both a permanent and contract capacity, within New York, Boston, Washington DC and other major U.S. and international legal markets. From 2003 to 2006, Erin specialized in prospecting, qualifying and closing new business, as well as managing existing accounts for Hudson Legal out of Boston. From 2006 to 2008, Erin worked for Major, Lindsey & Africa in Boston, where she was responsible for lateral hire placements in the AmLaw 100. From 2008 to until joining TRU, Erin worked with David Carrie LLC, a boutique placement firm specializing in attorney career management. Erin was excited to bring her broad network of relationships and deep understanding of the litigation process and lifestyle to TRU in 2010, where she has placed over 100 eDiscovery, Forensics and Litigation Support professionals in major markets across the United States during her tenure at TRU in the role of East Coast Manager of Recruiting.

Erin has worked at two large national legal recruitment firms specializing in the recruitment and placement of associates, partners and in-house counsel at law firms and corporate legal departments. She has been recognized for her extensive knowledge of the legal market and her well-established relationships with partners, associates and recruiting coordinators. She has worked closely with her clients to establish hiring strategies, compensation structure and interpretation of market trends. Erin has successfully placed attorneys and eDiscovery/Litigation Support Professionals in national, regional, and international law firms, as well as major service providers, consultancies and corporations. In her work as a recruiter, her philosophy has been to work collaboratively with each candidate to identify opportunities that are consistent with their needs. Erin’s approach encourages open dialogue with both candidates and clients, one in which their interests and needs are the focus of her efforts. Erin is an honorary double-major recipient from Merrimack College, earning B.A. degrees in both English and Fine Arts.
