Discovery Management managers provide consulting services to clients in large corporate legal departments and large law firms in the areas of discovery management. Managers provide leadership on client engagements and are responsible for day-to-day client interactions, client deliverables, project management, budgets and quality assurance, supervising and coaching staff. Managers will begin to assume billing management responsibility and participate in business development Activities.

Position Details:

• Provides oversight and guidance in supporting all non-legal aspects of discovery management, legal holds, document productions, document reviews, document coding/scanning, and document collections
• Regularly interacts with clients and are expected to generate a moderate amount of revenue by recognizing opportunities to sell company's services and/or participate in proposals
• Develops industry/practice expertise and consulting capabilities
• Serves as the day-to-day leader on engagements with strong project management skills and quality standards; leverages jobs and develops staff by structuring and supervising work, coaching subordinates and effectively delegating
• Manages existing relationships
• Communicates big picture concepts that demonstrate an understanding of the underlying detail
• Creates proven solutions for recognized problems

Job Requirements:

• B.S., preferably Computer Sciences, MIS, Mathematics, or other related major
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Strong project management, communication and quality standards
• Has industry/practice expertise and consulting capabilities
• Understands and can speak to the capabilities of several leading products used by clients
• Proven ability to build practice morale
• Flexible and willingness to travel
• Ability and willingness to coach subordinates and effectively delegate
