Talent Scout (CONSULTANCY)

TRU Staffing Partners is seeking a Talent Scout based anywhere in the United States. The Talent Scout will work closely with the Recruitment team and be responsible for the “front end” of the recruiting process including finding, filtering, qualifying, and presenting candidates to build a talent pipeline for a variety of positions. This role will develop creative and aggressive sourcing techniques to target a diverse candidate pool in both the e-discovery and cybersecurity verticals. This is a remote work from home position with tremendous growth potential. Our current Vice President of Recruitment started in this role and worked her way up in under five years! The right candidate should grow into a Recruiter within 12-36 months and be managing a territory within three years. Send resumes to [email protected].

Responsibilities include:

  • Partners with Recruiting Manager to determine client’s hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements
  • Utilizes creative means, advanced online search technology, and TRU’s established best practices to research, source, attract, and contact potential candidates to develop a diverse slate of qualified candidates
  • Builds and maintains a pipeline of talent to fuel the hiring needs of the organization
  • Reviews and proofreads resumes
  • Schedules initial phone screen interviews between candidate and Recruiting Manager
  • Works with internal tracking system, Bullhorn, to track and organize candidates and resumes
  • Posts positions using social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Bullhorn Reach

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • A great listener! This role requires someone who is adept and gathering instructions and search requirements and executing on sourcing for talent all day long.
  • Resourceful! Skills using internet resources including but not limited to, resume databases, recruiting and search techniques such as LinkedIn and Indeed, industry-specific professional networks, blogs and job boards
  • Techy! Experience using Bullhorn or other applicant tracking database. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook is required
  • Fast-paced! Results-oriented mindset with ability to multi-task, quickly change priorities in minutes
  • Works with a high sense of urgency, ability to remain flexible within a highly dynamic changing environment, and still deliver on deadlines
  • Communicator! Above average written and verbal communication skills, an ability to be persuasive and authoritative in tone and content. We need you to become an expert!

This will be a WFH (Work from Home) position. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a virtual environment and an ability to facilitate this comfortably from their home.

This position has tremendous growth potential. A professionally mature and hungry Talent Scout can and should grow into a Recruiter within 12 – 36 months depending on performance.
