TRU Staffing Partners, an award winning e-discovery search firm representing talent and opportunities in the e-discovery and litigation support space, today announces renewed partnerships with leading institutions – Georgetown University and LitWorks™, a DTI Company – to bring a much needed scholarship program to the legal industry for the third consecutive year. The goal of the program is to foster training and education for potential job seekers in the legal technology industry.

“This program has been a huge success in the past and we are thrilled to be partnering with Georgetown and DTI for the third year in a row,” stated Jared Coseglia, president of TRU Staffing Partners. “Many former recipients of these scholarships have successfully leveraged their education into challenging, lucrative and empowering career paths. Others have used the knowledge gained from their training to rise vertically within their existing employer as well as to deepen their value to attorneys and stakeholders alike. Anyone who is looking to break into e-discovery or accelerate his or her professional maturation should absolutely apply to the program. TRU awards scholarships to a diverse group of professionals at varying levels in their career.”

TRU Staffing Partners is currently accepting applications through its website, www.trustaffingpartners.com. The following opportunities will be available:

LitWorks™, a DTI Company:

  • Three full scholarships in 2014 to attend the Certified Litigation Support Professional program – a five-day, 24-hour course
  • Three full scholarships in 2014 to attend the Certified Litigation Support Project Manager program – a three-day, 18-hour course
  • One paid internship with DTI as an entry-level litigation support analyst, selected from the scholarship recipients

  • Georgetown University Paralegal Studies Program:

  • One full scholarship to attend the 2014 Advanced Litigation & Trial Technology course – a 32 hour course
  • One full scholarship to attend the 2014 eDiscovery course – a 32-hour course
  • One full scholarship to attend the 2014 Legal Project Management course – a 42- hour course
  • A 20 percent discount on any continuing legal education courses in Litigation Technology/Legal Project Management for anyone who completes a full application but is not selected for a scholarship
  • The application process will continue through the end of February, with the selection process following shortly after that. The recipients will be notified and announced by early April.
