TRU Staffing Partners 2020 Cybersecurity, e-Discovery, and Privacy Scholarship Program Winners

TRU Staffing Partners, an award-winning search firm representing talent and opportunities in cybersecurity, e-discovery, and data privacy, today announces the over 50 scholarship recipients of the 2020 TRU Staffing Partners Scholarship Program.

The program, which is designed to foster training and education for professionals in the security and legal technology industries, is concluding its ninth year of operation and has now awarded over 220 scholarships, totaling more than $250,000 in free education and certification. The 2020 portfolio of partners and their certification, training, and education delve into diverse areas of discipline including mobile forensic collection, advanced data analytics, legal project management, processing and hosting of litigation data, cyber incident response and remediation, privacy law and program building, technical e-discovery attorney review expertise, and more! Michael Quartararo, president of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), one of this year's institutions providing scholarships to the program, says, “I’ve always felt the generous spirit of individuals and companies across the e-discovery space, but the number of offerings TRU has pulled into this scholarship program is astonishing, and it genuinely quantifies the giving and forward-thinking nature of every organization involved. Education and training are the only way we get better at what we do.”

This series, “Unintended and Unexpected Consequences from COVID-19 on the U.S. Job Market,” is written by the founder and CEO of TRU Staffing Partners, a global leader in cybersecurity, e-discovery, and privacy placement and career management. Drawing from twenty plus years of experience representing talent and opportunities in global markets and having survived and thrived during and after past economic crises in 2001 and again in 2008–2009, Coseglia aims to help business owners, hiring managers, and both passive and active jobseekers to anticipate moments of change that are likely to occur as a result of the current impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had and will continue to have on job markets across the world. This series will examine how U.S. employment practices, policies, patterns, and people’s behavior may change in the coming months. Each chapter of this series will delve into a specific observation or trend starting with this week’s focus: PPP Ends, Unemployment Rises.

TRU Tips

“The true fall in GDP [from COVID-19], economic historians will debate for years. It’s not just the people not working. What’s the efficiency of the people who are working?” Kenneth Rogoff

TOP 3 Ways To Stay Efficient When Work Gets Slow
  • Focus more on demonstrable short-term goals (no one can predict long-term right now).
  • Stay visible, make sure your planning, execution and results are well documented and in shareable, digestible deliverables so supervisors can witness your thoughtfulness.
  • Work anaerobically: produce sprints of results, then rest, then sprint again.
