TRU Staffing Partners, a leading search firm representing talent and opportunities in the e-discovery and litigation support space, today announced they have been named Best Legal Staffing Provider (Attorneys), Best Staffing Company (Legal/Litigation Support) and Best New York Based Legal Recruiter in the 2013 New York Law Journal Reader Rankings.

Published since 2010, the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings gives the New York legal community the opportunity to acknowledge who they believe to be the best providers of products and services in their market. TRU Staffing Partners received the following recognition in the 2013 survey:

2nd Place – Best Legal Staffing Provider (Attorneys)

2nd Place – Best Staffing Company (Legal/Litigation Support)

3rd Place – Best New York Based Legal Recruiter

“This year has been a year of internal growth and record setting placements for TRU Staffing,” stated Jared Coseglia, president of TRU Staffing Partners. “We are honored to be recognized in three different categories by readers of this publication. TRU has expanded our capabilities to not only service eDiscovery and Litigation Support staffing for law firms, corporations, government agencies and service providers, but also to encompass attorney placement and career management. We are thrilled to be recognized so highly in both our traditional and additional lines of service. Additionally, New York is where we began and is where we are headquartered, so it is especially meaningful to have industry professionals in this region honor us for our expertise in this market.”

This year more than 8,200 lawyers and legal professionals cast ballots in the online survey, composed of over 80 categories across litigation support, consulting and outsourcing, technology, recruiting and staffing, research, accounting, financial services, real estate, mediation and education. Voters had the options of selecting firms listed on the ballot or, if not listed, writing in their favorite firm. Once the voting was closed, the New York Law Journal team verified that all those who cast votes were lawyers or legal professionals. Votes from anyone who could not be verified as lawyers or legal professionals were discounted. Votes from competing vendor firms were disqualified.

TOP 3 Job Market Takeaways From Q2 2020
  • For most alternative legal service providers, the bottom was felt in April and May with all-time lows in net new hires.
  • The privacy job market is coming back strong, but corporations are rethinking and retooling their leadership roles/responsibilities rather than hiring/scaling their middle management staff.
  • ESI companies and law firms are running lean on talent despite rising billables. ESI mid-market staffing remains flat (on hold mostly) for project managers and analysts.
