TRU Staffing Partners Extends 2019 Scholarship Application Period to March 11

NEW YORK – March 4, 2019 –TRU Staffing Partners, an award-winning search firm representing talent and opportunities in cybersecurity, e-discovery and privacy, today announced the company has extended the application period for the 2019 Scholarship Program to March 11th.

TRU partnered with ACEDS, EDT, iCONECT, IIB Council, The International Association of Privacy Professionals, Nuix, OpenText, Paraben Corporation and Relativity to offer scholarships through the annual program.

The program, which is designed to foster training and education for professionals in the security and legal technology industries, is in its eighth year of operation and has awarded over 120 scholarships, totaling more than $150K in free education and certification. TRU’s 2019 portfolio of partners and their certification, training and education will delve into diverse areas of discipline including mobile forensic collection, legal data analytics, project management, processing of litigation data, cyberincident response and remediation, back-end infrastructure and application domain expertise, blockchain programming and business leadership, and technical attorney review expertise.

“This scholarship program has been instrumental in helping talent in the cybersecurity, e-discovery and privacy community have access to education and certifications for professional development,” states Jared Coseglia, founder and CEO of TRU Staffing Partners. “We are extending the application period to allow for even more people to take advantage of the free education available given the influx of applications we saw leading up to this past weekend.”

Applicants will be selected by the TRU Scholarship Advisory Board (to be announced soon), made up of hiring managers and leaders in the space, who will review the applications anonymously, rank them and match them with the best fit offerings. The recipients will be announced on or around April 1. Education and training will be executed before the end of 2019.
